Accounts

Please note that an account is automatically created for you when you purchase any product (physical or virtual) from my webshop. Please see our Privacy policy on how we process and protect your data. An account is needed for access to any virtual products such as downloads, subscriptions to the Modern Method for Cajon or memberships. You can delete your account at any time via your account page on my website. It is not recommended to delete your account if you have an active subscription or membership as you need to login to your account to get access to the subscription & membership content pages. If you have purchased a physical product such as a cajon, deleting your account would obviously not affect your purchase.

 

Virtual Products & subscriptions:

Shipping:

Virtual products such as downloads and/or a subscription/membership to my online Modern Method for cajon or any other virtual products are not shipped or posted out.

Refunds, Cancellations & Renewals

 Any purchase of virtual products/downloads/subscriptions/memberships is binding and cannot be refunded or cancelled. We have a Free trial that we recommend you try before purchasing any virtual product/downloads/subscriptions/memberships.

Any subscription with recurring payments cannot be cancelled until after the agreed subscription/membership period (ie the 6 months unlimited access to the Modern Method for the Cajon cannot be cancelled before the end of the 6 month period from purchase date, and the 12 months unlimited access to the Modern Method for the Cajon cannot be cancelled before the end of the 12 month period from purchase date)

Once your subscription term has ended, you could choose to continue with your subscription on a monthly basis which can be terminated with 28 days notice. You could also simply renew your subscription or choose another subscription service should you wish.

Renewals to subscriptions are allowed once the time period of the subscription/membership has ended. 

By purchasing a subscription you agree to utilising it only for your own private personal use, and agree not to share your account login details with anyone and neither to copy or share any of the content or products of your subscription/download with any other person.

If you are an organisation or part of an organisation (ie a school, or a teacher etc) and wish to purchase a licence to use the Modern Method for Cajon for multiple people, please get in touch with Heidi Joubert at heidi@cajonbox.com

POSTAGE:

WE POST OUT WORLDWIDE,

Due to BREXIT we stock and post out from 2 different locations, One in Europe and another in the UK. This means that if you order from UK or EU you do not pay any customs fees. 

 

Dispatch:
Our usual dispatch times are once a week. Because our cajons are so popular and we focus on quality and not quantity, at times we do get low on stock. SHould any cajon be out of stock, this will show on the shop page and you can place a backorder, and in that case we will be in touch with you regarding the estimate delivery date.if we have run out of stock you can choose to be placed on our Pre-order list or be fully refunded. We will notify you via email if a delay to your order is likely.
Delivery times:
Delivery times may vary, particularly in peak periods such as Christmas. UK orders are normally dispatched on a next day service. The estimated delivery time in the EU is normally less than 1 week and outside the EU is around 6-10 days. Please note that this time does not include any customs or the dispatch time.
Any country outside of the EU, USA or Australia might wait longer than the approx delivery date due to different country policies on postage, customs etc.
Customs for international sales

  • Please be advised that the Customs Department of your country could impose duty or tax on your ordered item when it enters your country.
    Do find out the local regulations and the maximum value of import for duty exemption. We would appreciate your understanding that buyers need to handle any tax or duty charged by custom.

    Return Policy:
  • We believe in offering the best products and we want you to be very happy with your purchase,
  • If, for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us to resolve any issues. We will reply to you as soon as possible – if you have not received a response within 3 working days please check the spam folder in your mail box.
  • Buyers are responsible for all the shipping costs in the case of a refund unless there is a defect on the cajon. This rarely ever happens as we personally check each cajon and play it

All the instruments in our shop are handmade, and unlike most of the commercial brands found in many stores are made by passionate, skilled artisans from all over the world who love to deliver excellent work and take their time in making the best quality instruments on the market.

Shipping worldwide

We use the best couriers for handling our cajon orders. Please note that we also fully insure each cajon we send out and provide a tracking number, we have never had a lost or broken cajon yet with our trusted couriers.

All materials of the instruments are from sustainable sources.

Secure Payment options

Via Paypal, we accept payments. It is important to know the following:

  • We Accept credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal payments right away.
  • Buyers don’t need a PayPal account to pay.
  • Paypal protects you as a buyer and it is a safe way of paying for products online.
  • Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us with any questions you might have prior to buying.

We also accept direct bank transfers.

Please note in this case, we can not ship out any item before the funds clear in our account.

Refunds & Returns

Because it is important to us that you really love your instrument, in the rare case that you are unsatisfied with the item please let us know. Items will have to be returned in the original packaging they were sent in (undamaged, both the packaging and the item) and only then (once we receive the item back in it’s original condition as well as the packaging) will we refund you. We would appreciate your understanding that buyers need to handle any shipping fees in the case of a refund.
