Hi Heidi. I have been looking forward to getting The Complete Cajon instruction DVD. I’m in Washington State in the US. My cart says shipping is 89 pounds. That puts the price at over $150 for the DVD. That can’t be right. Can it? Thanks for all you do. I hope I can find a reasonable way to buy this.

      Hey Kyllike

All the shipping and packaging prices are listed on the producst page on our webstore. To ship to Estonia (which is part of the EU) it will cost £43, you can convert it to find out what the price would be in Euros.

Hey Aka, We have not had any duty charged with sending a cajon to India yet. Customs is pretty random for single packages, like most of our international orders, 80- 90% don’t go thru customs, but there is a 10% that just randomly gets held at customs, and there is no way to determine if this will happen or not. Sorry, wish I could control the customs!:-)

      Hello Rush

You can convert the amount from GBP to USD Here: http://www.xe.com/ucc/
The price in USD will vary depending on the exchange rate so it is difficult for me to give you an exact figure, but it would be around $280 for the cruz cajon guitar string and $88 for the shipping and tracking to USA… hope this helps!

Heidi, Thanks for the info. I live in Santa Fe , New Mexico , and Katumba is coming from Cadiz next week to give classes on Cajon y palmas. I needed to buy a Cajon before he gets here so I had to order one from a store here in the states for quick delivery. It will really be great if you can get your Cajon into the stores here! Thank you for your videos , they are very helpful and lovely. I used to live in Barcelona , back in the mid ’80’s (pesetas!) and I pass thru every few years , next time I’m there I will come by the Cruz shop! Ole guapa –

      Hey!!1

That one I use in the video is the guitar string TORO model of the cruz cajon. They are both good but I would suggest the guitar string if you liked the sound of this one in the video! 🙂 They both have a really powerful bass

Can you also supply a good quality bag for the cajon? I saw you busking in Cambridge in Aug 2011 and was very impressed. Bought your CD. I’m an ex drummer living in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and my options here are limited to hand drums. Want to treat myself to one of your fabulous looking drums for my birthday in October. Keep music live and here’s wishing you every success. Phil.

      Hey Phill!!

There are loads of cool cajon bags online, I am currently getting some bags to my store, but it might take a while yet. Check out this bag I use myself:

The meinl deluxe cajon bag… it’s got a HUGE zip (the zip is what breaks on the bags so get one with a BIG and strong zip)

    Heidi,
I am just trying to make sure I understand the pricing to America/USA, Is it $175.00 plus $55,00 shipping? is there another customs charge and if so do you know how much? And it is available in black with the natural color front plate isn’t it?

      Hey Michael!

The prices are £175 for the cajon plus £55 for shipping to the USA, I will put the converted amount in dollars up right away (still under construction the shop, sorry). It could be subject to a customs fee, but not always, and I am unsure what that fee would be. I will try and find out from someone who had to recently pay for the customs fee. I do know that many of our buyers in the USA have not had to pay a customs fee, but that would depend on the customs of your area, I am not too sure how it all works. Yes it is available in Black body with a natural front plate.

could you please quote me the total for a Cruz Cajon – Guitar string system (tunable) inclusive of postage to Malaysia?

    Reply
    • Heidi Joubert Post author

      Hello Nicholas!

The entire quote for a cruz cajon would be £175 (guitar strings) plus your postage of £55 to malaysia (it seems pricey but they use seriously the best courriers to make sure your cajon gets there without any damage or loss) so the final figure is £230 all inclusive. Did you find it difficult to figure out the final price on the shop page? this info will help me as I would then redo the shop page to make it easier for ppl to see the final figure.

      🙂 Heidi

Yes we ship worldwide, but it’s possible that we might not be able to track to certain countries. We can also arrange a different payment method, just let us know how you would like to go about it and we’d organise it! 🙂

Can you make a video showing us the differences between the piano and guitar string variants of your new cajon? They look beautiful and I can’t wait to get one!

Hey Dusten! videos of the cruz cajon and different ranges, as well as compasrison vids, are well on their way, within the next week or so there will be a few up….thanks for the nice comment on the beautiful design, they really are beautiful, in looks and sound, I have had some guests over from Germany (a musical family) and we have all had loads of fun trying these out, jamming together and comparing them to my other 5 cajones (at the moment I own 7, haha, I am super blessed) and we have all been delightfully surprised at the ease of playing and getting a wonderful sound out of the cruz cajon, both the piano and the guitar string cajon….I can honestly say I am in love with my own brand, and that is an even better blessing than having 7 cajones! 🙂

Sign up to my newsletter and you won’t miss the vids when they are posted up!
