Hi Heidi, I have just signed up to your Cajon course. I am a professional drummer and I also play Latin Percussion. I would just like to say how impressed I am with your teaching methods. Everything you say is exactly what I teach my drum students. So few teachers these days focus on what is really important and break things down to there constituent parts; you do this flawlessly. Not only is this a great cajon course but a master class for anyone starting out teaching a musical instrument. I have been following you for a while on social media or YouTube, your videos are always helpful as many other videos of other musicians. Honestly I was sceptical to buy a method of yours but I tried anyway since price was really motivating. Honestly I confess that is really well done and it pushes me to improve my technique and to play more everyday. It is inspiring.
I've been drumming since I was fourteen (now 65), have taught teens for over twenty years but, this cajon stuff is all new to me so, I'm a newbie here and have to admit that I'm impressed with your training — top notch! You've thought this out very well, including stretching, posture, great camera work.

Following Heidi already since 2023, my first "face to face" contact was the workshop in Moers in July which was a fascinating experience how she engaged a group of 16 people of different base levels to enthusiastic play as a group. Looking forward to participate the 2nd workshop in September.

My Cajon arrived today and I'm so very pleased. It sounds absolutely great… I have previously played Schlagwerk and Meinl cajons but in comparison the Cruz Cajon Pro Elite is in a completely different class.
Before that I had a Meinl Cafe Cajon. The difference between the two is night and day (with my preference being the Cruz Cajon by far). … I play it several times a week, it's comfortable and sounds rich and great.

Cruz Cajon ELITE ToroI just want to let you know That I just received my Beautiful Cruz travel Cajon. I just played a little bit of it with one of your videos on YouTube of you playing your travel Cajon on a Park Bunch under a gazebo. I love it. It’s inspiring me to get busy and complete the courses I bought almost a year ago. I do want to let you know that I had to pay UPS an additional $16.48 once it reached the US. Oh well, it got here safe and sound and in record time. Thank you again so much and I really enjoy watching and listening to you play and practicing along. Cruz Cajon ELITE ToroBefore deciding for one of Heidis Toros I played a Cajon by Schlagwerk named Agile. But the Toro is much more fun and also much easier to play. Sound is much better too. It reacts more agile (as the Agile) while playing and the bass sounds really great. As the bass area lies quite close to the top, only some inches below the high tone area, it is easy to switch between highs and bass an thus it allows you to play really fast. It is just the second cajon I own and play, but right now I cannot imagine playing another one like the Toro. So much better than the Schlagwerk in many aspects but actually about the same price. Clear recommondation for you to get your own Toro. I wish you all a lot of fun and joy with your Toro, at least that’s what it is giving to me. Daniel
