Description
Cajón Workshop No. 2 with Heidi Joubert (“Queen of Cajón”)
Discover the rhythm within you in this inspiring and high-energy 3-hour cajón workshop with internationally renowned percussionist Heidi Joubert.
This is our second workshop in Moers. We’ll begin by recapping everything we covered in the introductory workshop, and then carry on into new and exciting territory together.
Completely new to the cajón? You are very welcome. The recap at the start brings everyone up to speed, so you’ll be playing your first grooves the same afternoon — no experience needed, and nothing to catch up on beforehand.
What you’ll experience:
- A friendly recap of posture, hand technique, and the essential cajón sounds
- New grooves and rhythms to take your playing further
- Join a dynamic drum circle and jam with the group
- Explore musical breaks and creative expression
- Connect with others through rhythm, movement, and play
This special Moers edition is also part of the Big Cajón Blast Off Workshop series. ✨ A unique opportunity to learn directly from one of the world’s leading cajón educators — this time in a large, air-conditioned room.

Every order makes a difference
Whatever you order on this webshop helps me keep spreading the cajon across the world and enables the work I consider most important: regular charity work through music and the cajon, working with different organisations.
It also helps me build towards my vision and dream: the iKamoya Foundation — a charity I am in the process of setting up, aiming to help children and families living in the most poverty-stricken conditions. iKamoya is not a formalised foundation yet, but it is on the way — and every single order helps build towards it.

She is absolutely legendary. Her workshops are easy to learn and fun. She is a completely amazing person and passes on that fire she has 100%. After the workshop, I really felt like I could play the cajon better than before… This site, the cajons, and Heidi as a person are absolutely overwhelming. Wooow 🥰
