Discover the rhythm within you in this inspiring and high-energy 3-hour cajón workshop with internationally renowned percussionist Heidi Joubert.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply curious to try something new, this workshop is designed for all ages and experience levels. Heidi’s approach is simple: everyone is a drummer—we all carry rhythm within us.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through the essentials of cajón playing, from basic technique to your first grooves, all in a fun and supportive group atmosphere.

What you’ll experience:

• Learn proper posture, hand technique, and essential cajón sounds
• Play your first grooves and rhythms
• Join a dynamic drum circle and jam with the group
• Explore musical breaks and creative expression
• Connect with others through rhythm, movement, and play

The workshop is divided into two parts (with a short break in between):

• Part 1: Foundations
• Part 2: Groove & Play
