Cajón Workshop No. 2 with Heidi Joubert (“Queen of Cajón”)

Discover the rhythm within you in this inspiring and high-energy 4-hour cajón workshop with internationally renowned percussionist Heidi Joubert.

This is our second workshop in Hilversum. We’ll begin by recapping everything we covered in the introductory workshop, and then carry on into new and exciting territory together.

Completely new to the cajón? You are very welcome. The recap at the start brings everyone up to speed, so you’ll be playing your first grooves the same afternoon — no experience needed, and nothing to catch up on beforehand.

What you’ll experience:

• A friendly recap of posture, hand technique, and the essential cajón sounds
• New grooves and rhythms to take your playing further
• Join a dynamic drum circle and jam with the group
• Explore musical breaks and creative expression
• Connect with others through rhythm, movement, and play
