Heidi’s NEW signature line cajon Handmade in Spain

Hello Everyone!!!

I am so excited! I have been working closely with top flamenco cajon artisans to create my own brand, the signature line Cruz cajon. It will be available exclusively on cajonbox.com in approx one months time! My weekend has been spent drawing numerous amounts of designs. I have decided that my first signature line cajon models will be black and natural wood colour, with an artwork created by myself. The quality of the sound is just fantastic, an amazing instrument to own and a real pleasure to play!

This is another vision I have had, to create my own cajon, and finally after 4 years of seeking, I have found the right makers to make them!

Each cajon  will be quality approved by our experienced cajonbox team of professional players

    Hi.

Really like the sound of your Cruz Cajóns.

Do you have any plans to release a model with a pick-up? I tend to move around a lot as I play, and am often in a loud onstage evironment on small stages. (and also..er.. I’m lazy, 🙂 )

It would be really useful to just be able to plug in and play. After all, acoustic guitarists in gigging situations pretty much always use guitars with pick-ups rather than mics.

Very interested in the new cajon. Is it available yet? How much to ship to USA?

Or can I pick one up when I’m in the UK for a trip in August?

    Thanks

      Hello Andy!

It should be available within about 2 weeks or so, we are just in the final stages of the production of some cajones. I think it would be possible for you to get your cajon from me in August depending on how fast it goes and how many gets pre ordered etc, but I will only know this once It is released for pre order (we’re almost there). I would suggect signing up to the newsletter if you have not done so yet, that way you will knoe when it is set to be ready for pre order. Lets hope it’s soon so I can have your cajon here in the uk in August (they need to ship it to the UK). Otherwise there would be no issue to post it you to in the USA. 🙂

🙂 Hey, no harm in having 2 different cajons, I got 7! 🙂 And I use them all, for different things of course.

Heidi, I am new to percussion (and music, for that matter) after playing with a friend’s cajon for a few days. So I got my own and loving it, but just starting to learn. I will probably need to buy a decent one from you!)

I went on youtube and typed in beginner cajon lessons and your radiant face shows up so I want to thank you for the great lessons!!

You are such an impressive percussionist and I look forward to learning from your videos, too bad I don’t live in London otherwise I would have taken lessons from you in person, if you even offer that.

    Blessings,

    Jack
