Practice along with the wrist workout exercise over a range of different tempos while focusing on relaxed and controlled wrist movement, timing, coordination, and sound quality. Pay close attention to your posture, technique, and the natural “walking” movement of the hands while staying locked in with the metronome. Focus on producing an even and consistent sound with both the leading and weaker hand while developing fluid movement, endurance, control, and tempo precision.
If you begin to lose control, tension starts to build, or your technique becomes inconsistent, slow the tempo down and refocus on relaxed and correct movement. It is recommended that these practice along sessions become part of your regular practice routine in order to build strong technical foundations and long-term consistency throughout your playing.
