A dream, more than ten years in the making.
The dream started more than ten years ago in Heidi’s heart — to create a cajon camp and retreat. In 2027, we take the first step toward making it real.
It is all about spirit, body and soul — touching every part of who we are, for the better, through this wonderful box we call the cajon.
What Cajon Camp is about
More than the cajon
It won’t only be about the cajon. We’ll bring in congas, bongó, djembe and other percussion — and other instruments too.
Together we’ll form ensembles and small groups to create music, write songs, produce, and play games — making something new, side by side.
The vision
The dream picture is somewhere in the mountains — South Africa, South America, or another place of wild beauty — with everything that matters: hot showers, your own room, real comfort, yet still off the grid and immersed in nature.
