Introductory Cajón Workshop with Heidi Joubert – “Queen of Cajón”
Heidi believes that everyone is a drummer—we all have a heartbeat, and with it an innate understanding of rhythm. This fun and inclusive workshop is open to people of all ages and experience levels who would like to explore the world of the cajón and drumming!
We will start with the basics, learning proper posture, technique, and playing strokes on the cajón, then move on to grooves, rhythms, and enjoyable exercises in a communal drum-circle atmosphere. This workshop is beneficial for body, mind, soul, and spirit—an opportunity to connect, play, and feel the rhythm within yourself. Come along, feel your heartbeat, and celebrate joy, rhythm, and freedom! No prior experience required—just come and discover the heartbeat!
Cajóns can be rented for the duration of the workshop; however, rental must be booked in advance. All participants will also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase cajóns at a special price.

Participation fee: €30 / Members €25
Cajón rental: €5 per cajón for the session
